Hi! Love ur blog! I'm taking this drink called "protinex" and was wondering if that would help me. I'm 160lbs and 5'3. I'm going to start insanity to help lose weight. Any tips?

Thanks so much, glad you like the blog!

I can’t say that I’ve ever tried protinex, so not sure there. As for insanity, great work outs if you can stick with it ( which you can!) I would recommend trying to add other forms of exercise in between though; running, yoga, etc.

Also, remember that your diet is a huge part of weightloss. Simply drinking a supplement and doing insanity won’t get you the change you are looking for. Get your intake right and you will see the best results!

Hope this helps :)

You look incredible! I have hit rock bottom no matter what I try I can seem to lose a pound! It's been almost a year and I've only gone up and feel horrible. I have a fast pace job that is extremely long an stressful and I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. I get up and workout 3-4 x a week and eat healthy. Any suggestions?

Thank you so much! Stress at work can contribute to difficulty with weight gain, but it shouldn’t limit you with the right plan. Take an honest look at your diet first; I would suspect that may be where the problem lies. How are your portions? Have you tried cutting out things like gluten? Also, make sure to switch up your workouts so that you are getting in a wide variety of exercises.

What exacting is clean eating and do you have any suggestions?

Clean eating can mean a lot of different things. For me, it’s about not eating processed foods, cooking whole foods for yourself as often as possible. Cutting out sugars and sweets. I also do not eat gluten or dairy and I feel that my body is cleaner because of it!

If I'm 5'3 and I have 15-16 pounds to lose (119, currently), how long should/will it take me to get there?

There is no real set period of time as it depends on how hard you work! If you get your diet right and have a great workout plan…it would be realistic to lose that weight in 4 months or so! Do it the healthy way.

Hi! I love your blog and was looking for some guidance. I have been trying to lose weight for about a month and a half now and I feel like I haven't lost as much weight as I should have, and now I'm kind of getting off track and discouraged. What should I do?

We’ve all been there! Maybe it’s time to look at your diet and exercise routine again. Try incorporating more interval training and limit or cut all sugars etc. Every little bit counts and helps get you closer to your goals.
