I know it takes time and energy, but at the end of the day you end up feeling amazing inside and out! Attitude is everything! If you go into it feeling like its pointless and a waste of time, it will be!

Change your goals! Instead of constantly being obsessed with losing weight or fitting in a certain size, focus on feeling heathy and fit! I never set weight goals for myself when I started my journey. I just wanted to feel better. And I did! The better I felt, the more I enjoyed exercise and the more weight I ended up losing!

I know we all want it to happen right NOW, but it’s just not the case. Think of the last amazing thing that happened to you… Job promotion💲, love 💏, great hair day 💁(hehe) All these things take time! Nothing worth celebrating is instantaneous. You must put in hard work to help it grow and develop.

The same goes for your fitness goals. While it’s tempting to want to weigh ourselves every time we finish a killer workout, it’s going to do nothing but drive you crazy and get you down. Just be patient. You WILL get there.

The best thing you can do for yourself is set realistic goals! 10lbs in a week is not healthy or realistic to attain. The more tangible your goals are the more motivated you will be to put in the work and see them through!

Here’s your go-to move for this gorgeous Monday! Planks are simple and often overlooked, but they are awesome for increasing core control and stability!

With one simple move you engage the whole body, waking up all those little muscles that have been hiding!

In a straight arm plank, try moving through mountain climbers, twisting to touch opposite knee to elbow. You will not only work the arms, but your obliques and booty will feel the burn too!
.
In forearm plank you will notice your core is working overtime! Make sure you draw the belly in toward your spine and BREATHE! Try holding this position for as long as you can. A great lower belly exercise is to repetitively tap your knees to touch the ground while holding your low plank! xoxo Katie #lovesweatfitness
